It was an absolute pleasure having Caroline Voaden MP join us to celebrate our 50th year.

⭐️Statement from Caroline⭐️
It was great to visit the Admiral Swimming Centre in Brixham yesterday. Offering a wide range of lessons, classes, and groups for people of all ages, the pool has been at the heart of the community since 1975. 

It’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and it was a pleasure to meet with the pool’s directors, volunteers, and staff to learn more about its history, and their exciting plans.

Since January, the pool has enjoyed energy generated via solar panels on its roof. And they’re not alone in this! South Devon features among the top 10 most eco-friendly constituencies, with 5,927 solar panel installations per 100,000 residents. 

South Hams District Council is also installing solar panels at three of its leisure centres, and thanks to the Government adopting the measures from the Lib Dems Sunshine Bill, the vast majority of new homes will now include solar panels as a standard.
